Visa Information

In order to study in the United States, international students may need to secure a student visa, and there are several services available for them.

A visa is typically required for entry into the United States if you are a foreign national or an international student currently studying abroad. Below you'll find details on a variety of visa types, including the F1 student visa that's used by the vast majority of overseas students. Intimidating as it may be, getting a student or work visa to come to the United States requires navigating the bureaucracy of the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS). We want our students to have the best possible experience applying for a student or work visa, which is why we established the International Student Visa and Immigration Center.
There are general requirements that must be completed in addition to the specific conditions that are essential for each visa category in order to enter the United States. All things considered, you should:

  • Get vaccinated. You do not require any vaccines to enter the United States unless you have just traveled from a country with an ongoing epidemic
  • Respect the law since breaking it can get you tossed out of the country.
  • Afford to live comfortably throughout your stay.
  • Upon finishing your current course of study, you expect to leave the United States.
