Professor Blake's academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, followed by a Master of Science and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. His groundbreaking research has been published in numerous leading academic journals, and he is the author of "Advanced Robotics: The Future of Engineering" (Cambridge University Press, 2008), a seminal work in the field.

Joining the faculty of Denver Liberty University in 1994, Professor Blake has taught a variety of courses including Advanced Robotics, Renewable Energy Systems, and Engineering Ethics. His commitment to student mentorship and his innovative teaching methods have earned him multiple teaching awards. Under his leadership, the Department of Engineering has seen remarkable growth in research funding, publications, and student enrollment.

Professor Blake has been actively involved in various interdisciplinary programs. He is a senior fellow at the University's Institute for Advanced Technology and a faculty affiliate of the Center for Sustainable Energy Solutions. His work often intersects with environmental studies, aiming to develop sustainable engineering solutions.

Professor Blake has also served on numerous national and international committees, contributing his expertise to the development of engineering education standards and policies. He has been a keynote speaker at major conferences and has collaborated with industry leaders on innovative engineering projects.

Prior to his tenure at Denver Liberty University, Professor Blake worked as a lead engineer at General Electric, where he was involved in developing cutting-edge technologies for the aerospace industry. His professional experience in the industry has greatly enriched his academic endeavors, providing a practical perspective that he imparts to his students.
